When your work is done and you need quiet fun.
Who says teachers can't have fun!
A HUGE thank you to Amanda Arze and all who came to our Faculty Pot Luck Luncheon.
Black History Month Awareness Event
Our Event is on Friday 15, 2019. See Peg or me if you would like to sign up for speakers!

Our focus for February is PLAGIARISM. Check out my "homemade cookies".
Blind Date with a Book

"What book did you get?"
February's Study Hall Challange
The Year of the BOAR.
The theme for this month's SHC centers on Lunar New Year. There are several projects students can work on after their work is finished.
Are you ready for some football?
Not a thrilling game, but still a winter tradition. And some of the commercials were pretty funny.
Funny story about the Word of the Week
One week in January, I forgot to change the word in the Word of the Week. Still wanting treats, some students found their own word to define and hand in! It's amazing the motivation of a Dum-Dum pop!
Library Work and Study Halls
We need your help! Some periods have gotten very crowed in the library and students are "hanging out" with nothing to do. Please help us with this issue. Thank you to study hall teachers for sending five students and below. If you need to send students from your class, please be sure they have something to work on for you. If you are sending multiple students to the library, please limit the number to five and below. Please do not write passes for students who are not in your class at the time.
As always, thank you for your support.
March Madness Tournament of BOOKS
March brings us our March Madness Tournament of BOOKS. This year students nominated their favorites books to compete for the title of Troy High School's favorite book of 2019. Check out the daily competition in the library.
