No Coast For The Americans!
Keep The Mexican History In The Right Place!
Why Keep Them Away From The Coast?
We are going to have to try our best to keep these Americans away because we have history with them. When we gave them a colony in Spanish owned Texas, the man by the name of Moses Austin that was supposed to run the newfound colony had died before the colony was even officially started, and his son made a random cameo appearance in Texas and thought he could run it and run it well. Within the first 7 years, Austin had brought almost 300 families to texas, so we figured since they were on our land, we had all rights to force them to be Mexican citizens, learn Spanish, and become members of our holy Roman Catholic Church. Austin Had To make this worse, this happened almost immediately after we had just got our independence from the brutal Spanish. This is showing us that the Americans are unreliable and cannot follow through with the things they wish for.
Are There Any Other Events Proving Why We should Keep The Americans Away?
We Can't Hold Up Our End Of The Bargain Either, As History Proves
In the early 1800's when the americans were starting to settle in Texas, we were trying to get some of the current spanish people living in Texas by the name of the Tejanos to maintain control over the area, but almost nobody showed up to keep an eye on the Americans, which may have never changed until current day, and we should not try and test it out.
WAR!
Throughout the years, our history with the Americans has been very bloody. Throughout the years and especially in the first half of the 1800's there have been many fierce conflicts with the Americans. The first of many battles between us and the Americans was the one and only battle of the Alamo. This is the most iconic battle between us and the Americans. The battle was fought at an old mission that was used as a fort called the Alamo. We had literally slaughtered the Americans, leaving only 5 of them alive which were later executed. The Texans were shocked by our ruthlessness and wanted to fight for their freedom. This shows how the Americans are very stubborn and will not stand for an innocent defeat which is why they deserve not to be anywhere close to our borders and coasts. The other major battle between us was the battle at San Jacinto which was very disappointing. With all 800 Texans in all, they shredded half of our army in about 18 minutes yelling "Remember the Alamo!" This was very childish. As a result of this annihilation, we were forced to sign a treaty giving the Texans Their freedom which was very hurting for us which is why we should keep the americans as far away as possible to avoid another situation like this.
The Americans Don't Follow our Rules
When the americans were first settled in Texas under our laws, they refused to follow andy of our parameters that we have. We had outlawed slavery, but the Americans wanted to keep their slaves to grow cotton, but that could not happen under our laws. Also, almost none of our new settlers in Texas wanted to follow our specifications for them to live in our territory like learning spanish, following our laws, and converting to catholicism. The Americans also refused to stop paying our taxes and revolted, so we put their leader Stephen Austin in jail and sent around 6,000 troops to Texas to put down the revolt. Due to this disobedience we had to close down the state to further American immigration in 1829. This shows how sometimes we cannot use our security capabilities to defend ourselves, but we can put down the iron fist when needed. Even with this power we cannot trust the Americans with our vague and specific guidelines we have laid out for them.
The Bottom Line
The Bottom Line, as history proves prohibits us from even thinking about changing our law on keeping the Americans away from the coast. There is absolutely no advantage for any such occurrence to happen to us.
