Notes from the Principal's Desk
How quickly time flies! Can you believe we are about to enter the last month of 2022? As personal and professional obligations amplify this season, the busyness of things can make it hard to think outside the here and now. Teachers and leaders always need to find ways to refill their cups since so much of our time is spent pouring into those who need us most. At the same time, we need to pour into each other. Sometimes we need to step back, let our colleagues shine, call each other experts, specialists, and authorities on matters and topics where we have seen a fellow professional flourish and contribute substance to our school. As we consider thankfulness this time of year, we can extend gratitude to one another, to our crew, for picking up the ore, finding ways to stay in sync, slowing the rate of needless rocking, and helping the boat to stay afloat. With a short 2.5 day week, I implore you to find one colleague a day to offer a genuine compliment. And when they return the favor, let humility and grace guide you.
