"Support Your Timberwolf" Campaign:
Our fundraising efforts continue next week with SPIRIT Week! All funds support school and PTA fundraising efforts with 100% of collected funds used for the goals at Tiffany Ridge. Our fundraising goals will help us to make playground updates with a shade canopy and a drinking fountain, add 21st Century learning and technology tools including Virtual Reality, Coding, Programming, and more to our classrooms, and continuing to add more flexible seating options for classrooms and our pod areas! See more details below:
Parenting in Challenging Times: What is conscious discipline, and why does it matter?
Join us for a webinar on Oct 22, 2019 at 6:00 PM CDT.
Used for classroom management and social-emotional learning, conscious discipline is based on current brain research, child development information and age-appropriate practices. This approach teaches self-regulation skills, focuses on children's voice and empowers them to achieve behavioral goals. Benefits include creating healthy connections, improving impulse control and encouraging cooperation. Conscious discipline is an opportunity for us to better understand and change behavior, allowing us to effectively serve students' needs. Audra Olson will explain conscious discipline, drawing on her 30 years of experience as an educator and counselor in our Park Hill schools. Retired from the classroom, Olson continues to serve our students. She studied with the creator of conscious discipline, and she is working with our staff to bring these skills to Park Hill.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

PTA Reflections 2019-2020: Entries DUE on November 1st!
Looking for something creative to do before summer ends? Get a head start on your PTA Reflections entry. We want to encourage you to unleash your inner artist through PTA’s Reflections Arts Program. This year’s theme “Look Within” calls for your own unique interpretation through the arts. This is your chance to express yourself through one of six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. More information can be found by clicking HERE.
Silent Auction Items Needed!
As part of our pancake breakfast on November 2, we will also be hosting an online auction. We are currently soliciting community businesses for donations of goods and services (merchandise & gift certificates). We would also like to reach out to our school community . If you are a business owner and would like to donate any products or services or if you are a parent interested in donating a new item for the auction, please reach out to Staci Moran at tiffanyridgepta@gmail.com. These donations would need to be submitted by October 15, 2019. We appreciate your commitment in supporting your child's school.
Thank you from the Tiffany Ridge PTA!

Box Tops for Education
You might have noticed some changes with many Box Tops products you've purchased recently. Box Tops for Education (BTFE) is going digital! If you see the BTFE label on any products, use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt. Box Tops are still worth 10 cents for your school. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to your school's earnings online. Just download the app, sign up for free, choose TIFFANY RIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, and scan away. Receipts need to be scanned within 2 weeks of purchase. BTFE is phasing out the traditional Box Tops clips, but you can still send them to the school and we can still get 10 cents for every Box Tops clip. Thank you for helping raise money for our students!
Watch D.O.G.S. at Tiffany Ridge
WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative program that we have at Tiffany Ridge! Even though the program emphasizes Dads getting involved at school, ALL parents can be Watch DOGS, so Moms are welcome to sign up too! Sign up at the link below to be a Watch DOG at Tiffany Ridge!
Nominate a Staff Member for the Park Hill STAR Award
Our employees are the reason we are so successful here in the Park Hill School District, and we would like to recognize them for all they do for our students.
That is why we present the Park Hill Star award once a month to a pre-K or elementary teacher, a secondary teacher and a support employee. Anyone can nominate an employee for this award by using the form below. It asks you to share how your nominee demonstrates our district values of continuous improvement, high expectations, integrity, visionary leadership and student focus. You can also share how your nominee supports the goals in our district’s strategic plan.
