Drama was originated from greek and was produced at festivals for Dionysus, the god of wine. In every drama there is a plot which includes exposition, rising action, climax, falling action and the resolution. The conflicts are usually between characters who want different or the same things, within a character, or a character and his/her circumstances. Modern drama is usually a tragedy, comedy or both. There are three different type sof stages. A round stage which is where you are surrounded by an audience, a thrust stage which an audience is only on three sides, and a proscenium stage where the audience is in front of you. The stage might be set up realisticly and detailed or abstract and minimal.
