Summer School Enrollment
We're excited for SUMMER SCHOOL 2024! The K-12 session will run from Wednesday, May 29 to Friday, June 21. Enrollment for summer school is officially open until April 12. Visit republicschools.org/summerschool for details. We can't wait for a great summer of learning with our students!
At Home Support Activities
Last year, we received feedback from our families via the Culture and Climate Survey (MRA) and our Parent Advisory Meetings that families wanted more opportunities and resources to support their students academically at home. We have compiled some resources for you to use to support your students with content that will happen in the first semester. You can find those resources below, and they will be located in each classroom newsletter moving forward.
In addition to these resources, regular reading with your students is a huge support to them. They need to practice reading AND hear you reading aloud to them. This supports students in practicing decoding words, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.
We hope you all have FUN learning together!
Below are resources for families to use at home to support their readers. We know that foundational reading skills are critical for student's long term reading success. These activities are designed to be easy for families to complete at home while having some FUN too! If you have any questions on how to complete the activities, you can reach out to your child's teacher.
