The Connector
May 2021
Can you believe that we made it to the end of the 2020-2021 school year?
As we focus on finishing this year strong, I would like to hear from you, our EN families. Our East Noble administrators, teachers, instructional assistants, secretaries, bus drivers, and dining staff, custodians, nurses, and any staff I missed pour themselves into their work and their students every single day. Oftentimes, they never know the true impact they have made. This school year presented many situations that our East Noble staff never could have imagined, but they rose to the occasion and worked tirelessly to make this school year the best it could be. If you have a story of a CHAMPION staff member that you would like to share, I would love to hear it!

If you completed a transfer request for your student for the 2020-2021 school year, you DO need to complete a request for the 2021-2022 school year as well.
Student Devices
Students in grades K-3 and 5-11 will be allowed to keep their devices over the summer. For more information, read the "Summer Device Letter" below.
2021 Knight Summer Athletic Camps will begin in June.

Before and After School Care
Evidence shows that high-quality, community afterschool programs can accelerate academic performance by extending learning and increasing student engagement.
We know you want the best for your child’s health, education, and well-being. That’s why East Noble School Corporation has teamed up with Champions to provide a Preschool Wrap Program and Preschool and School-Age Before- and After-School Programs for students in our school district. Champions has more than 28 years of experience providing high-quality programs that balance education and fun in a safe environment. Champions’ Cognia accredited program will be conveniently located at Avilla Elementary School.
What sets Champions apart?
Learning shouldn’t stop when the school bell rings — and the Champions program makes sure it doesn’t. Guided by passionate teachers, children explore their curiosity through activities in creative arts, math and construction, literacy, puzzles and games, science, and STEM! Their new STEM component will spark interest in even the youngest of students as they learn about coding, robotics, and more. Time is set aside for homework help giving your family more time to spend together at night. Healthy snacks are also provided for your children.
