August 24, 2020
I hope you are all well and enjoying this beautiful summer. We have been busy at school getting ready for the 2020-2021 school year and are excited to be starting school soon.
For those who ordered school supply kits, they have been delivered. We'll deliver the supply kits to classrooms for students attending in person. For students attending school virtually, families can come to school to pick up supply kits next Wednesday (August 26) between 8:00 and 4:00. Just come to the front office.
Early next week, families with students attending virtually will receive communication regarding chromebook distribution. Pick up will be later in the week.
Enjoy these last days of summer vacation, and please reach out if you have any questions.
Yours in education,
Bridget Mowbray

ALL SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS ARE UPDATED
One common question right now is, "Are school supplies the same for VIRTUAL students as they are for IN-PERSON students?"
- For 4K-5th Virtual: We have trimmed down the in-person school supply list and linked up a "Virtual" supply list to each school's supply list document.
- For 6-12 Virtual: We have listed the general supplies needed for each grade level and advise Virtual students to connect with the teacher(s) during the first few days of school to find out what is essential to have at home in the way of school supplies.
You can find links to all school supply lists on this page here.
ATTENTION 4K & KINDERGARTEN PARENTS REGARDING BUS TRANSPORTATION HOME
4K & Kindergarten students will be picked up and dropped off with other elementary students at a designated stop. A parent or designee must assume responsibility for the child at the stop when dropped off.
If parents would like to designate a person other than themselves, they can send an email to Tricia.Geiger@franklin.k12.wi.us.
In regards to same day notification (this should only be done for emergencies), please call First Student Busing at 414-422-2020 so they can pass along the information to the bus driver.
