ACT permission slip
In order for ACT to send the March 26, 2024 score to colleges that the student chooses, each student must have a parent permission form on file. Forms were given to all students late February when they picked their senior year classes. Forms are needed March 15, 2024. I will send an email to parents next week if I have not received your child's form.
See below the permission slip. If your child has not asked you to sign it, here is a form you can sign and email back to me.

College Visits
Just a reminder, students need to have a purple college visit sheet turned into the attendance office (Mrs. Tobin) BEFORE they go.
Dual Enrollment Courses
Next year Seniors have the opportunity to take Dual Enrollment courses. These are classes that are High School and College Credit courses. They are taught by teachers in our school, or online by other High School Teachers. They are usually at a reduced rate and all Colleges have articulation agreements with the Community Colleges to ensure credits will transfer.
Offerings include:
College Biology
College Statistics
College Calculus
Technical Math - for those interested in a trades profession
Technical English-for those interested in a trades profession
*We have other options but Northeast has not released their listings yet.
*Cost if free and most classes are 3-4 credits.
They do fill up quickly ( the online courses- the ones taught in Tekamah-Herman do not fill up), so if your son/daughter wants to take a course in the Spring, registration has to come in early April. Most students interested in Dual Enrollment completed their application for dual enrollment and we will work on getting registered for classes this week.
Check out the following webpages to ensure that the classes will transfer to the college they want them to.
https://transfer.nebraska.edu/ - Will tell you if classes transfer to all colleges/ universities in Nebraska.
