Keith Elementary celebrates successful fundraising season!
Kate Tomasik, Keith PTA president, said: "This sensory turf project was the idea of Dr. Augenstein, Keith Elementary’s principal and esteemed recipient of last year’s Administrator of the Year Award. Great principals are always great motivators. Here, Dr. Augenstein offered herself to be slimed in front of the whole school if the fundraising goal was achieved. She believed this community could attain this goal…and they did!"
Dr. Marci Augenstein, Keith Principal, said: "We are pleased to announce that Keith PTA exceeded its goal and raised $41,000 for its Eye of the Dragon fun run event this year. Sandra Rodas, our Vice President of Fundraising, is amazed by the way everyone pulled together to make it all happen."
