It's time to get serious about research
During the first week of November, the GT students will be visiting with Mrs. Adams, our school librarian, to learn about reliable databases and researching tools. She will teach them about primary and secondary sources and show them websites to help them create a work cited list. This information will also be available in the GT schoology class.
Parent volunteers are welcome to come to our pride classes in the second and third weeks in November. A huge shout out to Chrissy Zac, Lisa Murray, Sheri Gros, Julie Pruski, and Amanda Juarez who came to our pride classes in October. They helped the kids narrow down their topics. Now we need parents to help kids focus their research, ask higher-level questions, and brainstorm product development.
If you are interested in coming to GT pride please email me.
Pride is at 2:50pm in room 212.
I see 6th graders on Tuesday, 7th graders on Wednesday, and 8th graders on Thursday.
