Boys’ Basketball Impressive Season Comes to an End
Congratulations to our Boys’ Basketball team for their impressive season. The Bulldogs came up short in Round 2 of the State Tournament on Saturday against a tough Warner Robins team. Both teams battled back and forth, making tough shot after tough shot. In the end, it was Warner Robins who sealed the victory by making free throws down the stretch. Final score: 69-76.
The Bulldogs finished the season with an impressive 20-8 record, going 9-2 in Region 4-5A, winning back-to-back Region Championships!
We’d like to thank our Seniors for their leadership this season. Many of them have been on the Varsity team for 3 or 4 years, setting a standard of hard work, dedication, and success. Thank you to Coach Faulkner and his staff for their ceaseless time and energy.

Partnering With The Positive Coaching Alliance
What are YOUR Youth Sports Goals?
This year, the Bulldogs are partnering again with the Positive Coaching Alliance to enhance the experience of our students, coaches, and Bulldog families. The PCA has a vast number of resources that can help us make the most of our experience.
This resource is an activity aimed at helping families determine what their goals are as student-athletes. This exercise can spark some important conversations about how families decide to navigate this experience. Making sure everyone is on the same page about what desired outcomes can help to create a positive experience!

Brandon Whiting: Make Your College Choices Based on Fit, Not Promises and Expectations
This week's token comes from the Positive Coaching Alliance and Brandon Whiting, UC Berkley Graduate and former Philadelphia Eagle. As many of our student-athletes are making choices about continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level or are considering this path, his advice is important. Look for schools that fit what you want athletically, academically, socially, geographically, etc. And then, if things don't work out, seek ways to improve your experience before moving on to another school.
