An Important Message from our Receptionist!!
Parents dropping off forgotten items:
Although we fully understand that things sometime happen, it is each student's responsibility to bring to school their classroom supplies, homework, P.E. clothes, lunch, lunch money, etc. Responsibility is one of our schools five core values. If you bring a forgotten item(s) to school, it must be placed in one of the cubicles to the left of the front desk. Please have his/her name and grade level printed or taped to the package. The receptionist will not be tagging or providing labeling items. You are responsible for notifying the student to pick up their belongings. The office staff WILL NOT interrupt classroom instruction to notify your child.
We appreciate your cooperation in assisting our staff to maximize your student's instructional time in the classroom. School staff will not be held responsible for ANY items including but not limited to; cell phones, money, keys, etc. All items are left at your own discretion.
Let's Help to Make SBHS #1!
Come out and support SBPA!
Don't miss next week's SBPA Workshop, Communicating with Your Child's Teacher, on Wednesday, Oct. 24th at Crossroads North Middle School! Parent-teacher conference time has served as one of the hallmarks of the home-school connection in our District for decades. Now, with the increase of online software and information systems like Genesis, our teachers can exchange data more frequently and easily with parents over the course of the school year, changing the way we partner with parents. This interactive workshop will explore the benefits of the various information systems and how best to incorporate them into your communication with your child's teachers, all in an effort to help your child to succeed.
