Good Afternoon Barnard Families,
Student iPad Collection
A checklist and instructions for families will be sent home to all families in the coming days. These will outline the steps you will take to get your child's device ready to turn back in. Devices must be turned in with the original case, charging cord, and big block charger.
Three important items to note: First, physical academic work will be available for all students to complete for that last asynchronous school day. Second, your child's device and associated equipment must be turned in or paid for in order to access students' end of year documents. Third, students participating in an Enfield Public Schools summer school program will be issued a device through the program for use during the length of the programs.
Last Week of School
We are speeding towards the last week of school and as with everything else this year, it is going to look a little different than it has in the past. Please read the following information carefully so that your family can plan ahead.
Monday, June 14th and Tuesday, June 15th:
Both days will be an in-person learning days but will follow the early release schedule. Our official dismissal is scheduled for 1:50. As with previous 2020-2021 in-person early release days, we will allow families to start picking students up a little earlier to help keep traffic flow in our parking lot safe and orderly. Families planning to pick up their child can do so directly from the exterior classroom doors starting at 1:30. It is okay if you cannot arrive until 1:50 but we want to give families the option of picking up early so that they aren't hung up by the buses.
Wednesday, June 16th:
This is our official last day of school. As with all Wednesdays this year, it will be a remote, asynchronous learning day. Physical academic work will be provided for students since iPads will have already been collected.

PTO News
There is one more meeting scheduled for this year. It is scheduled to be held in June and if you know an incoming kindergarten family, please let them know that we'd love to "see" them at the next meeting. I still can't believe how close the end of this year and the beginning of next year really are!
