Science Olympiad
Disney's Science Olympiad teams had a strong showing this weekend at the Macomb County competition held at Macomb Community College this Saturday. Medals were handed out to top 8 in each category. Disney earned 6 first place medals, 6 second, 2 third, 2 fourth, 1 fifth, 1 sixth, and 1 seventh place medal! And to top it off, Disney's main team earned the overall 2nd place trophy out of 30 teams teams competing! In addition to the second place trophy, Team Disney received the Rising Star Award indicating a most improved and spirited award. Way to go Team Disney!!
We are all so proud of our Disney Science Olympians for their hard work and efforts to their team and learning. Thank you, Mrs. Hamilton, and all of our team coaches for your dedication and efforts to help prepare our students.

Perseverance refers to the dedication and contuiation to work towards something despite difficulty or obstacles. Perseverance is never giving up and trying your best no matter what! Let's work on perseverance this month!

iPad Collection
As we near the end of the school year, we will be collecting student iPads and chargers. To help prepare for the process, and to avoid fee’s, please note the following:
- Please make sure any stickers are removed before the collection date.
- District issued Apple chargers (containing barcodes) will be collected with the iPad.
- Non-Apple chargers and cords are not accepted and will be returned to the student.
- Invoices will be sent home for damaged or missing items.
Disney Elementary Parent Teacher Organization Updates...
All PTO meetings are virtual and ALL are welcome to join. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, May 17th at 6:00 p.m. We will be discussing our upcoming community events and fundraisers. You can join our virtual PTO meeting by clicking here at 6:00 p.m.
