Grandparent's Day
Conferences
This week marks your second opportunity to meet with parents and share with them information about their child’s progress. Please make every effort to meet with all your student’s parents/guardians. If you are unable to meet in person please hold a phone conference with them so they are informed about their child’s progress. If you are thinking of retaining a student please mention this concern now to parents so they are not surprised in May. Wednesday and Thursday are long days with us here from 5 – 8 in the evening for conferences. The good news is the shortened day on Friday and Cindy’s hard work on the Staff Appreciation Luncheon this week.
Language Arts Fair/Science Night
We had a nice turn out for the Language Arts Fair/Science Night. Students and parents seemed to enjoy the evening events. I also appreciate the hard work that many of you put in to have your students create polished writing for display. Even more difficult due to the 5 snow days thrown in there! They will look nice on display and give parents something to look at as they meet with you this week. The bonus is we will have these things up for our Internal Mini-Visit on March 15th also!
