The local NAACP is entrenched in the enhancement of literacy and education and the development of employment and technology skills for local youth. This is why the collaboration with Lane Community College SMART reading pregram and the OSAC sponsored ASPIRE program are key. We believe these resources help motivate at-risk students to stay in school!

All of us have neighbors, friends , students and/or situations ourselves where we need a first responder, where we/they experience food or housing insecurities or where we/they experience a mental health crisis and/or another need. This is an amazing opportunity where more than 25 of the agencies in our area are coming together for us to ask questions of them.
