LEGACY PROJECT IS A STUNNER
Friday morning I had an excited group of boys stop in my office. They wanted to show me a surprise, which truthfully can be a little scary coming from a group of middle school boys, but I was blown away to see what this group was so excited to show me. The boys had completed a project they called their legacy. They had built a beautiful, sturdy, balanced picnic table. The table was to be a part of a Maymester project being completed by another group of students who were creating an outdoor space for students to sit in a butterfly garden. The Maymester projects are new this year and are giving our kids an opportunity to build necessary work and life skills by working on projects that interest them and connect to academic standards. The Maymester Symposium will be held on Wednesday, May 30, from 5 pm to 8 pm. The Maymester Symposium will feature a wide variety of work from students across grades 1st-12th. The entire community is welcome to come see the student work.

GIRLS BASKETBALL KEEPS WINNING
The girl's basketball team was awarded the Academic All-State team for the 23-24 school year. The award recognizes the team with the most accomplishments on the court and in the classroom. These awards are incredibly difficult to earn and very cherished to have. This year our girls finished second in the conference, won districts, finished second in regionals, and maintained a team GPA of 3.816. INCREDIBLE!!! We are so proud of these student-athletes!!
