Please welcome back Susan D'Ottavi! Thank you to Christina Tassakis for filling in.
Revised date: I and RS: A reminder that March is the LAST MONTH for new referrals. New referrals are not accepted after April 15th, since there is not enough time to evaluate interventions. If you have a student to refer, please do so now.
Please remember the Nurse's Office is closed from 1:50-2:50. Please send any students that need a nurse visit to the Main Office during this time.
CHARACTER CORNER
TECH TIP OF THE WEEK
Words of Wisdom
You can only be jealous of someone who has something you think you ought to have yourself.
~ Margaret Atwood
The game of comparison is particularly difficult for young people. It's hard enough for those of us with years of life experience! There's always that one person who seemingly has it all—the big house, great relationships and perfect hair to boot! The difference is, we know that we don't attain those things by feeling jealous and sorry for ourselves. Show the young people around you—learning from you—that the path to success is to focus on your own strengths, your own goals, and your own plan of action. Nothing tastes sweeter than honest success built from hard work, and that's something you can have for just yourself.
With something to think about . . .
Remember to take care of yourself. Is there something you have been struggling with wanting, but not able to attain? Write a detailed plan of action, include graphics and timelines and refer to it often.
Happy Birthday!
