STATE TESTING - Required for all 9th and 11th graders
As required by the Arizona Department of Education, all students in 9th and 11th grade will be tested in April 2024. 9th graders will complete the ACP Aspire, and the 11th graders will complete both the ACT with writing and the AZ Science test. Here are some details about the testing.
ACP B&M students and ACP online students that are assigned to test in Mesa at ACP
April 1st - 9th grade ACT aspire and 11th grade ACT
April 2nd - 11th grade AZ Science
It is critical that students arrive on time to school for testing! Please plan to be early on these days.
** Lunch will not be provided. Students testing will need to bring a lunch from home as they will not be allowed to leave campus during the short break in testing. Students may not order lunch or have anyone bring lunch to them. Please make sure to bring something from home. ACP will provide snacks such as granola bars, chips, crackers, and water during the testing breaks.
Students in grades 10 and 12 will be doing school at home on April 1-2nd. Teachers will give out packets of material the week before that need to be completed (March 28th). 9th graders will only come to school for testing on the 1st, and will have a packet for the 2nd to do at home. School will resume as normal on Wednesday, April 3rd. 9th and 11th graders will be finished with testing before the end of the school day, so they will be released once all the testing sessions are complete.
ACP online students that are assigned to other locations will test on those dates and times assigned. Details have been emailed out to all parents. All online students must bring a photo ID to testing. You can use a drivers license (or other state issued ID) or an old school ID with photo. If you do not have one, please email Taylor Sorensen at tsorensen@accelschools.com to make arrangements to get a school photo ID.
Here are the approximate testing times for April 1-2nd at ACP for 9th/11th graders.
Congratulations to our ACP e-sports STATE CHAMPIONS!

He asked question like "What do you want out of life?" . He spent time on life skills - "Shortcuts vs. Skillsets". He also discussed reasons people drink and smoke. It was a great event for our students to attend together at ACP. Thanks VIVE18!
