Old Military
We have had some complaints about a lot of cars parking on Old Military during drop off and pick-up. Please be mindful of our neighbors.
Fun Day
It's almost time for FUN DAY! We need volunteers who are willing to help set up, run, and clean up each station during Fun Day. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here by March 21, 2024. Mrs. Humphrey will send home detailed information for you to set up and run the station selected.
If you choose to volunteer, please understand that we will count on you. We are depending on you to be on time, with your information packet in hand, and to be present for the entire time you signed up for. If you do sign up and you are unable to volunteer, please call the school and leave a message for Mrs. Humphrey with the receptionist.

Garbage to Gardens Spring 2024 Poster Contest:
Garbage to Gardens Spring 2024 Poster Contest:
Keeping Contaminants Out of the Compost Bin!
Contamination occurs when non-compostable items get mixed in with the food waste in the
compost bin. Plastics and trash cannot be broken down by the decomposers that live in soil.
Contamination reduces the quality of compost and puts pollution into the environment.
Common compost contaminants in school cafeterias include condiment packets, plastic
utensils, and food that still has plastic or foil packaging on it. The best way to stop
contamination from being present in finished compost is to prevent it from being put into the
collection bins in the first place!
Garbage to Gardens is seeking poster designs to help educate students about the importance of
keeping contamination like plastics and trash out of the compost bin!
