Academic Parent Teacher Teams (APTT)
Each year Cedar Fork holds two Academic Parent Teacher Team nights to inform parents of the curriculum that their children are focusing on as well as other important topics. This is a parent only event and to get the most from this event we ask that you try not to bring your child with you if possible. Parents will be engaged in different activities to support their understanding of strategies and skills that their children are learning. They will also leave with manipulatives that can be used at home for learning. Please make sure you place these dates on your calendar and plan to arrive at 5:30pm.
- K-2 - February 28 @ 5:30pm
- 3-5 - March 6 @ 5:30pm

Carpool & Walker Safety Information
Please read the below information about carpool and walker safety.
Cedar Fork Elementary is committed to the safety of our students. Keeping that safety as our number one commitment, we ask that you please adhere to the following carpool procedures:
- Student arrival on campus begins at 8:45am each morning. Student(s) must remain in the vehicle until a staff member is present to unload them.
- Please maintain a safe speed of 5mph in the school parking lot.
- The carpool line is single file. Please stay behind the car in front of you. Please refrain from passing and forming an additional line.
- Please stop before all crosswalks. These areas must remain clear to safely cross students.
- When dropping off your child(ren), please pull forward to the next available staff member.
- Please make sure that your child is unloading on the passenger side of the car. We want to keep the students safe, this will ensure that they are not walking out on the driver’s side into traffic.
- Students should remain in the car until a Cedar Fork staff member opens the car door. Students are only permitted to exit the car along the front of the school building where staff members are present. Children cannot be released along Town Hall Drive, by the cottages, in the opposite side of the parking, or by the community center
- If your child(ren) arrives after 9:15am, please park and ring the front doorbell to sign your child in.
- Please refrain from cell phone usage while in the carpool line.
Also, as seen above carpool begins at 8:45am and the line is pretty empty from 8:45 - 9:08am. Arriving early in the morning with help all students get into the building on time.
FYI: If the carpool line is very long the crossing guards might ask you to turn right out of Garden Square and get in back of the other parents that have been waiting patiently in line.
