Principal's Corner
At EVS, we had an amazing time last week with our Dance Coaches from NHDI. Students worked hard all week to learn different dances and they were able to perform in front of the whole school Friday afternoon. We are putting together a video for the website. Be looking for that!
During drop off in the morning, please remember no one should be passing a school bus or school bus van while they are unloading. Be cautious as there are families walking from parking spots to the gate. If your student needs assistance getting out of the car, please pull into a parking spot and then walk them to the gate. At the end of the day, please park in a lined parking spot. DO NOT PARK IN THE DRIVING LANES. If there is not a spot, please pull back out of the parking lot and then come back.
We have a lot of lost and found. Students from Project Grad will be collecting any unclaimed items next week. Please take a moment to come and see if anything we have belongs in your home!

A Note from the School Nurse
When should my child stay home?
Our recommendations:
For a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. A student should be fever-free without fever-reducing medication (such as Tylenol or Motrin) for at least 24 hours before returning to school.
Vomiting and/or diarrhea. Students may return to school 24 hours after the last episode.
Suspected/untreated communicable disease (i.e. chicken pox).
Suspected/untreated bacterial infection of the eyes (i.e. conjunctivitis), nose, throat (i.e. strep throat), skin (i.e. scabies), or scalp.
Students should stay home for the first 24 hours of antibiotic therapy.
Rash with fever or behavior change, until a healthcare provider determines that these symptoms do not indicate a communicable disease.
Illness which prevents students from participating comfortably in school activities (i.e. excessive coughing or excessive fatigue).
Illness which results in greater care needs than school staff can provide without compromising the health and safety of other students.
Lunch Balances
There are a couple of different ways to pay for student breakfast/lunch balances.
- You can send money in an envelope to school with your students name on it. We will give it to the kitchen and it will get put on your child's account.
- You can set up an online account through MyMealtime and put money on their account. Check out the food services section of the school website for more information.
You will receive a paper copy of any outstanding balances. If you need help, please reach out to the office.
No Smoking on Campus
According to Section 126-K:7 of NH RSA, no person shall use any tobacco product, device, e-cigarette, or e-liquid in any public educational facility or on the grounds of any public educational facility. This includes in your car in the pick up/drop off line.
