Jesse Boyd Elementary School~~~~ April 13, 2018
Greetings from Dr. Rose
As I returned from a wonderful, relaxing Spring Break, I thought about that ritual. I hope you all share that same sentiment of holding up those 4 fingers to remind us all to FINISH STRONG. While the end of school is approaching a lot quicker than most of us wish, we don't want to stop working hard. Help us help your students to FINISH STRONG.

Do you spend money on AMAZON? If so, why not help Jesse Boyd PTSO. You can use the link below and order away. PTSO will receive a percentage of your purchase. It is a win-win, but please know you have to sign into your Amazon account using Amazon Smile.

Bruster's at Lunch
Early Release Wednesday
We also ask two things of you on these days:
1. If your student is to be dismissed in a manner different than their normal procedure, please send your child's teacher an email or send a note to school with your student.
2. We serve lunch on early dismissal days. We understand some families have special lunches planned for that day. If you do not wish your child to eat lunch, please send a note to school or an email sent to your student's teacher. If your child doesn't have a lunch box, or we do not have a note from you stating not to have a school lunch, your student will receive a school lunch.
Buy Socks! Save Lives!
The fifth grade students of Jesse Boyd Elementary have partnered with the WeHelpTwo organization to provide a water filtration system for a school where children do not have access to clean water. We are selling funky socks for $12 per package. Three pairs of awesome socks for only $12!!!! The campaign goal is to sell 380 packs of socks in order to provide the filtration system. Not only will we be able to provide clean water to a school in need, but for every pack sold, WeHelpTwo will donate a pair of warm socks for us to give to those in need in our own community. Everybody benefits from this program…we provide clean water, you get great socks, and we can provide for our own community.
Did you know…………
· Over half of the developing world's primary schools don't have access to water and sanitation facilities.
· 1 in 9 people worldwide do not have access to safe and clean drinking water.
· In developing countries, as much as 80% of illnesses are linked to poor water and sanitation conditions.
· 3.4 million people die each year from scarce and contaminated water sources.
PLEASE help us reach our goal of selling 380 packs of socks.
How To Purchase
1. You can purchase online!
2. You can purchase socks at school by cash or check.

If purchasing online, we have two shipping choices.
* Free shipping to the fundraising host. This option must be selected during the time of purchase. The host (Jennifer Squires) will be sent all of the socks at the end of the campaign with a list of people who purchased them through their campaign page and be responsible for distributing them.
* Direct Shipping: This option is the default for the online campaign purchases. Shipping costs will be added to the cost of order and will arrive within 2-3 business days to the purchaser's address.
*If purchasing at the school, Checks should be made to We help Two. Fill out the order form and send it with payment to the office. You will get your socks that same day!!
