A Brief History...
He was born on December 5th, 1924 in Cape Province. He was one of a few founding members of the PAC, and was president of the PAC and the Fort Hare Students' Representative Council, where he proved to everyone that he was an excellent speaker. He was even the first one to start marching to the police station in Sharpeville, where 69 Africans were killed.
His Contributions...
He was an extremely faithful Africanist, so he and a few other people formed a group known as the Pan Africanist Congress, where he was elected as the first president of the group. Because of his love for his country, he was in and out of jail a lot for incitement. He was also a very good speaker, which helped him get to where he was in the Anti-Apartheid Movement..
He was a big part of the Anti=apartheid Movement...
