Word of the Month (W.O.T.M.) is ACCEPTANCE...
Acceptance is embracing what is, regardless of whether it is something you asked for or not. It is knowing that you have a new way of looking at things. Whatever the present moment is, accept it for what it is, as if you have chosen it and it will become your first step to peace. Acceptance is also the ability to see that others have a right to be their own unique person, having a right to their own feelings, thoughts and opinions.
We are at 73% of students in our building participating in our routine COVID testing. If you haven't done so, please sign up here! CLICK TO PROVIDE YOUR CONSENT.

Counselors Corner!
On Wednesday, Dec 8, 2021, our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students participated in a classroom assembly entitled “Say Something”, an initiative that teaches youth and teens how to recognize signs and signals of potential harm to self or others. The students learned three steps that will help them keep their friends and classmates safe from hurting themselves or others. The three action steps your student learned are as follows:
Recognize warning signs and threats
Act immediately and take it seriously
Say something
This presentation was well received by our BMS community and generated thoughtful and candid conversations.
