Dear Families,
OUR SPRING FUNDRAISER KICKS OFF TODAY! WORLD'S FINEST CHOCOLATE!
ALL students attended at fundraiser assembly on Tuesday morning. Students learned about all the fun prizes they can win...just for selling an entire case of chocolate! All proceeds will benefit the students and our school. Please pay close attention to the steps below!
All students will receive a flyer this week to share with parents/guardians. The bottom portion of the flyer must be signed in order to receive a case of chocolate.
Each chocolate bar sells for $3.00
1 Case=20 items= $60.00 total
- Parents, please help to sell to friends, family, and co-workers.
- No door-to-door selling...safety first!
- Cash only, please! Please convert coins to bills.
- Participation in the fundraiser is NOT mandatory.
- Once a box of chocolate is claimed (with parent permission), the unsold chocolate may not be returned.
Please keep the top portion of the flyer at home. This will help encourage students to keep selling!
Students may return the bottom slip to school. Staff members will collect permission slips every day. Students will take home a case of chocolate once they have returned the slip.
By signing (the bottom of the form), I give permission for my child to participate in this sale. I understand no chocolate may be returned. All previous money must be turned in to check out additional chocolate to compete for prizes.
Don't forget to check out the awesome prizes!
All students that sell ONE entire case will be invited to attend a magic show (show will be scheduled for a later time in the semester). Some cases might even contain a GOLDEN TICKET! If you find one, please return it to the front office or your teacher.
All money will be due on March 8th.
The top selling class will receive an ice cream sundae party!
Thank you for supporting our fundraiser!
MRE Teachers, students and Staff
What happens if we sell one entire case?
Please ask for a new permission slip in order to receive another case. We will have extra copies!
Families may sell as many cases as they would like. Just keep in mind, that a parent permission slip is needed for each case that is received.
Thank you!

Attention Parents/Guardians of current 4th-12th grade students:
Senate Bill 2050, passed during the 87th legislative session, requires school districts to collect information annually through student surveys on bullying/cyberbullying and use the survey results to develop action plans to address student concerns. All Katy ISD students in 4th-12th grade are invited to participate in an online survey administered by K12 Insight. K12 Insight manages online surveys for school districts nationwide, safeguarding the confidentiality of participants’ responses. Students will be prompted to enter their student ID numbers solely to verify student participation by campus and grade level in an effort to maintain data integrity. K12 Insight will not provide Katy ISD or any outside party with data that connects a participant to his or her survey responses.
MRE will administer the survey (to the appropriate grade levels) between February 20th and March 8th. Participation in the survey is voluntary. Parents and guardians may opt their child out of participation by logging in to MyKaty and selecting the KISD Option Portal icon. The opt-out deadline was February 9, 2024. The opt-out window for the Student Safety Survey has closed.
Parents with questions about the student survey or who wish to provide feedback are encouraged to email studentsurvey@katyisd.org.
