Monday 4/08
In Writing Workshop, we will be starting to develop our literary essays. In reading Workshop, we are starting to look at the Boston Massacre from the British point of view to try to figure out what really happened that day.
Tuesday 4/09
Frank is our new Star Student! In Computers, we will work on a PARCC practice test. In Writing Workshop, we are making a list of thesis ideas about our picture books.
Wednesday 4/10
In Social Studies, we will continue the Northeast leg of the Amazing Race. In Writing Workshop, we chose our thesis ideas and are making outlines before we start our rough drafts. In Reading Workshop, we are deciding if we will side with the patriots or the loyalists for a mock 2nd Continental Congress debate!
Thursday 4/11
In Social Studies, those of us who have finished the Northeast leg of the Amazing Race will get to use the Google Cardboard virtual reality glasses to visit some sites in the Northeast! In Writing Workshop, we will finish our outlines and start our rough drafts of our literary essays. In Reading Workshop, the loyalists and the patriots are gathering evidence to get ready for the big debate!
Friday 4/12
We will have our Unit 6 Math test next Thursday-- make sure you study! In Writing Workshop, we are writing rough drafts of our literary essays. This afternoon in Reading Workshop, we will have our 2nd Continental Congress mock debate!
