This district provided platform ensures that we are safely sending school wide information directly to you. No need to worry about downloading any new applications. School Messenger will send all updates directly to your email inbox! No action is necessary if you are already listed in ParentVue.
To ensure you are getting the school messages, make sure your preferred email and settings are up to date on your ParentVue account. If you need help with ParentVue you can use the district toolbox or contact Ms. Carter at sch497@sfusd.edu
Attendance
If your child is not feeling well or is unable to attend school please email us at SCH497@sfusd.edu.
A reminder that an excused absence is sickness, religious observance, or specific family emergencies.
Regular school attendance is a key indicator of student success! We appreciate your efforts to get your kids to school on time each day!
DW Rainbow Club
Ms. Jen (School Social worker), Mr. Thomas (3rd grade teacher), and Ana Avilez are continuing their work with DW Rainbow club. Participating 4th and 5th graders meet on the first Thursday of the month. This club is an opportunity for students to learn about different LGBTQ+ topics including identities, allyship, community, and important people in history. Recently the students have been celebrating Black people who are part of the LGBTQ community. Check out this video to learn more!
The Rainbow club has designed our own Owl Pride shirts that we sell and get some profit for our Club that covers snacks, parties, flags, and other things the club needs. If you would like to show your support and your DW pride, please purchase a T-shirt. Here is the link to purchase. We will not submit your request until we have received payment for your shirt. If you have financial hardship and want a shirt please reach out to Ms. Jen directly and we will try our best to provide you a shirt.
