2021-2022 Budget and School Board Election
Highlights of the 2021-2022 Budget Include:
- The continuation of current programs and personnel to support students in meeting or exceeding New York State graduation requirements. The most recent graduation rate for Lockport High School is 91%.
- A 1.688% increase to the tax levy, which is the maximum allowable tax levy limit increase for our district. Since the inception of this law, the Lockport City School District Board of Education has always stayed within or below the calculated tax levy limit.
- The maintenance of positions and programs to keep the district in compliance with NYS Education Department mandates and services for a diverse population of students.
Announcement of Candidates
Each of the three (3) at-large Elected Board of Education Members shall each serve a three (3) year term commencing on or about July 1, 2021. The candidates are:

- Michael P. Ferraro
- Kristina M. Schutt
