Wise Words
"Be impeccable with your word. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direct on of truth and love."
Quotes by Don Miguel Ruiz
For a Smile
A: An eyeball
Q: What do turtles, beaches, and eggs all have?
A: Shells
Did you know?
In the story of Pinocchio his nose would grow if he told a lie. If he says his nose will grow, it is a conundrum known as "Pinocchio Paradox"
If you think about it, Pinocchio's nose would have to grow to make his statement not a lie. But then it can't grow,: otherwise the statement would not be a lie.
Solar Eclipse: A Glimpse into Darkness
Last Monday was a day to remember! Students and staff alike enjoyed learning about eclipses and watching this historical event. As the moon made its way, the day became darker. The green grass became more vivid, birds quieted, outside lights came on, all in preparation for a moment in time where the day became night.
WEATHER OUTLOOK

Technology Awareness
Technology is a wonderful gift for student growth. Replacement/repair of abused items takes away from learning, instruction, and others.
For Awareness:
Usual culprits & possible solutions:
*Playing around: socializing is great, however please be mindful of the area around you. Bumping, pushing, and falling are not good for students or Chromebooks.
*Stepping on devices in cafeteria, classroom, bleachers, band, locker rooms and bus: If possible, don't put them on the ground. If not, place them close to you and out of the path of others. Be mindful of items on the floor, desks, and seats.
*Holding devices by the screen will cause screen damage. Never pick up and hold the Chromebook by the screen.
*Forgetting to bring devices to school: Establish a routine and place the Chromebook, calculator, and borrowed school items in the same safe place when done with it for the day.
Students need to bring their Chromebook and calculator to school every day!
