How am I feeling?
Feelings Journal
Many things have changed quickly in our lives over the last week, and even as adults this can be extremely hard for us to process. We have to understand that if we are having a hard time navigating these feelings/emotions our children are as well.
Having a child keep a feelings journal is a great way to help them process their feelings. A journal is a place for them to also express how they are feeling creatively through drawing.
If you decide to start a feelings journal with your child have them make it their own by decorating the cover and coming up with ideas of what they want to write about. If you do not have a blank notebook at home, you could staple together loose leaf paper.
Of course not every entry has to be about feelings they could journal about their favorite place, things they are looking forward too, or things they love to do outside.
