Welcome Back IIMCA Family,
We are eager to get back to educating your children. As we bid a farewell to the year 2015, and an awesome semester 1, we prepare ourselves to conquer another set of instructional goals. As you prepare that oh-so-important "First Day of School Pep Talk" for your child(ren), remember to include the fact that second semester is a fresh start for all. This semester we will be using technology even more than we did before. All classrooms will be equipped with a class set of laptops, to help take student learning to the next level. Scholars will also be completing more assignments using our on-line educational programs. Our scholars will be using iReady Online Learning Program, and Acellus Online Learning Program more frquently than before. We hope to start the new year off with even more determination, and even more tenacity, than before, we hope your scholars match our passionate instruction, with their perseverance, and excellence.
First Day Expectations:
In order to begin the semester with P.R.I.D.E., scholar must
- Arrive On Time (7:30 am)
- Arrive In Full Uniform
- Be Prepared With All School Supplies
- Be Ready To Be The Best Scholar
- Have A Positive Attitude
We concluded semester 1 with many note worthy achievements. We are glad to report great improvements in scholar's, PSA scores, benchmark data, and we met all AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) requirements according to the California Department of Education. IIMCA ranked higher than Monroe Middle School, Frank D. Parent, and majority of the middle school in our surrounding areas. Thank you for your continued support! Thanks to you, your intelligent children, and our passionate team, IIMCA is on track to be the BEST school in Inglewood/Los Angeles.

*Urgent* Letters Of Intent: Due, Jan. 15th, 2016
The deadline to turn in your Letter of Intent is, Friday, January 15th, 2016 at 12:00 pm. We began the Letter of Intent process prior to Winter Break, and we thank all that have taken the time to return it to the school. We would love the opportunity to continue to provide a high quality, college preparatory education to your child. If you wish for your child to remain enrolled at IIMCA, for the next school year, you must return the Letter of Intent to the school. Families that do not return a Letter of Intent, will not be guaranteed enrollment into the 2016-17 school year.
Enrollment will be open to the pubic, beginning Saturday, January 16th, 2016. Returning your Letter of Intent by Friday, January 15th, will entitle you to priority enrollment, for the 2016-17 school year, and your child's space will be reserved. All currently enrolled scholars who return the 2016-17 Letter of Intent, will be guaranteed a space at IIMCA, for next school year. IIMCA's Open House! Saturday, Jan. 23rd
Help Us Spread The Word!
IIMCA is having an Open House! We are seeking bright young men and young women, to join our elite group of scholars!
Our Open House will be held on the IIMCA campus, Saturday, January 23rd, from 9:00 am, until 1:00 pm. This is much more than an Open House, it is a community event! Attending families will get the chance to: meet with our amazing team of instructors and administrators,enroll in the 2016-17 school year, learn about our high achievement rates, tour our classrooms and facilities, and much more. There will also be games, food, raffles, and lots of fun for everyone! We hope to see you there!
Our Open House is opened to the entire public, but of course our IIMCA families are entitled to some privileges. All currently enrolled IIMCA families that brings, or refers, an interested family to our Open House, will receive a gift, and will be entered into a raffle to win an awesome prize. In order to receive your gift, and be entered into the raffle, please mention who you will be referring at the sign in table.
