Congratulations to 6th Grader, Everyn Jones, for being selected as a part of ASD's Honor Orchestra! Everyn will be participating in the Honors Concert, to be held next Thursday at West High School at 6pm.
We are very proud of your accomplishment, Everyn!
Testing March 25-28, grades 3-9
AK STAR testing is upon us. Many families ask, “Why should I test?” Great question. This is a great opportunity for you to see where your child is in reading and math statewide. We can then assist you in filling in any learning gaps.
With that in mind, we’ve made the test sessions simple, ready, and available now for sign-up.
Monday, March 25th, and Thursday, March 28th we will be proctoring Language Arts.
Tuesday, March 26th, and Wednesday, March 27th we will be proctoring Math.

Youth Art Show
Celebrating Frontier's Youth Art Month participants! Please make plans to stop by the Anchorage Museum and the 5th Avenue Mall during the month of March to see artwork by Frontier students!

Spending Deadline
April 5th is our spending deadline for the year. Any requisitions or reimbursements need to submitted in SALTT by this date. If you know of any expenses coming up, please get your order or reimbursement in as soon as possible.

School Climate & Connectedness Survey Launch
The SCCS is an online survey for students, staff, and families. The Anchorage School District window is specifically open from February 19 to March 8. There is a survey link for students grade 3-5, grade 6-12, Staff, and Families (4 links). Student Chromebooks will have links to the student surveys already prepared courtesy of IT. Please relay the staff and family links through your usual communication channels. There is NOT a unique link per school - participants select their school from a drop-down menu.
