Week 15:The Blue Stampede Bulletin
Week of April 14, 2024
Mustang commUNITY,
Thank you to everyone for your support with English I and English II STAAR! We are confident our students implemented their strategies and knowledge to Master the test.
Testing continues this week and it’s important that our students approach the EOC tests with a positive attitude, dedication, and a growth mindset. By giving their best effort and demonstrating their knowledge and abilities, they can showcase their academic achievements and set themselves up for success in their academic pursuits.
I encourage parents and guardians to support their Mustang during this testing period by creating a conducive study environment, ensuring adequate rest and nutrition, and offering words of encouragement and motivation. Your involvement and encouragement play a significant role in helping students perform to the best of their abilities.
To our dedicated teachers and staff, I want to express my gratitude for your hard work in preparing our students for the EOC tests. Your commitment to providing quality education and support to our students is truly commendable, and I have full confidence in your ability to guide and inspire our students towards success.
As a school community, let us rally together to support our students during the EOC testing period and help them achieve their full potential. Together, we can create a culture of academic excellence and empower our students to thrive in their academic pursuits.
Thank you for your continued support and collaboration. Let's work together to ensure that our students excel in the EOC tests and reach new heights of academic achievement.
Best wishes to all our students as they prepare for the EOC tests. Your hard work and dedication will surely lead to success.
Sierra King

Safety Policy to Prevent Unauthorized Entry🚨
Dear LCHS Families,
As your principal, I remain committed to the safety and security of our campus and would like to request your cooperation and support with our students, which includes some important reminders about our visitor check-in process and consequences for failing to adhere to these procedures.
It’s important to understand that the visitor check-in process is in place to safeguard the well-being of everyone within our school community. Allowing unauthorized individuals into the school or using the wrong entrance poses a potential risk to the safety of our students and staff. All campus visitors must check-in at the campus front office. Throughout the building, all students and staff members must have their badge visible and should also use primary entrances.
Recently, it has come to our attention that some students are violating the visitor check-in process and allowing individuals to enter the campus through side doors and back doors. Beginning on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, any student permitting individuals into the school without proper check-in or through the wrong door will face disciplinary consequences, which will result in a three-day out-of-school suspension and/or other measures deemed necessary by campus administration.
To maintain a safe and secure learning environment for all, we kindly request your support in reinforcing these security measures with your student. Please contact me at sierra.king02@lcisd.org if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate your partnership in upholding our safety standards.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Sierra King
Principal
