T-Ball and Kinderball
Ages 4 (by class start)-Kindergarten
Our youth t-ball program is geared to be your child’s first introduction to the sports of baseball and softball that are grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals. Each night will begin with warm-ups and instructions from the coordinator. Teams will have two Parent Volunteer Coaches, but Parents are HIGHLY encouraged to join their child on the field as they rotate through stations, so your child gets the best experience. The parent and child will go through 3 stations comprised of basic skills such as: catching, throwing, fielding, base running, and batting using a “T.” Once stations are complete, they will move into playing a game at the end of the night. Live pitching and outs are introduced to our older players in Kinderball. Team assignments, schedules, and shirts will be distributed on the first night of practice. Students must provide their own glove and come dressed in athletic apparel/team shirt and tennis shoes.
Five-year-olds entering kindergarten this upcoming fall of 2024 and those finishing kindergarten this 2023-24 school year have the choice to register for either T-ball or Kinderball. Limited space; register early!
Parent volunteer coaches are a necessity to make this program run. Coaches do not need a background in baseball/softball, only a desire to help kids have a positive experience. Jukebox Saturday Night: Henry Manchini - Paramount Theatre Bus Trip
Join us for a HWY 12 Adult Day Trip to St. Cloud for a lunch buffet at the Coyote Moon Grille before heading over to the Paramount Center for the Arts to see Jukebox Saturday Night: The Music of Mancini. Mancini Centennial pays tribute to the great Hollywood film/tv composer Henry Mancini, who would be celebrating his 100th birthday in 2024. Mancini Centennial takes audiences through Henry's time as one of Glenn Miller’s arrangers during World War II to his long and productive career writing music for Hollywood and becoming a chart topper in the “easy listening” genre. This show features Henry’s compositions that have become some of America’s most memorable melodies (Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's, music from The Pink Panther franchise, Peter Gunn television series, The Glenn Miller Story and many more), performed by an 11-piece band and includes a female vocalist.
The lunch buffet includes your choice of three hot entrees, potato, vegetable, soup, tossed caesar salad, and popovers. Also offered will be a dessert and a coffee/beverage station.
Fee includes show ticket, buffet lunch, and charter bus transportation.
