State Testing Coming Up!
5th Graders will be doing their Science State Testing the week before Spring Break. We will continue after Spring Break with Reading and Math for both 4th & 5th graders. It is very important that students be present on testing days! It is also helpful if they've had a good night's sleep and a good morning to start their day. Please be aware of when your child will be testing. You should receive that information from their teacher. Help us help your child to be as successful as possible on his/her testing.
Spanish Spelling Bee Champions
Gustavo Barraza Gonzalez received first place at the Spanish Spelling Bee. He is shown here with Assistant Principal, Mayla Garcia, as well as the runner-up, Irving Castillo Marquez. Gustavo will represent Lovington Schools at the State Spanish Spelling Bee.
Spring Parent Conferences
It is so important for us to be partners with you as parents! Students have much more success when the teacher and the parents are a team. Please make plans to attend your child's parent-teacher conference on Thursday, March 28th. You can discuss progress and any concerns you or the teacher might have about your child.
ParentSquare
If you haven't downloaded the ParentSquare app yet, do it today! It's a great way to communicate with your child's teacher and get important information from the school.
