Presidents' Week February 20-24
Principal's Message
Hello Santa Margarita Parents,
As we work to improve our systems and provide the best possible experience for our students, we are asking for your feedback on the LCAP survey mentioned below. In this survey, you will be able to provide feedback regarding academic achievement, the learning environment, and family engagement. You will also be able to help us prioritize areas of needs and share comments on what you see that is working well and also what areas you would like to see improved. I hope you will take a moment to complete the survey and provide feedback. Have a wonderful President's Week and we will see our students back on Monday, February 27th.

Principal

A Message from our School Based Resource Officer
- The state of California does NOT have an age restriction regarding leaving a child unattended; however, MCB Camp Pendleton does.
- No child or children under 12 years of age will be left unattended in a vehicle.
- Children under the age of 12 may not be left alone in any house. Children over 12 may be left alone in the house or may care for younger children, provided they are able to assume responsibility.
- All children, 6 years old or younger, must be directly supervised by a responsible person when playing outdoors.
- Children 10 years or older may walk to and from functions, schools, bus stops, etc.
With this being a base order, failure to abide by this would fall under UCMJ Article 92 – Failure to obey order or regulation.
