Patriot's Pointe
Happy Sunday Patriot Families!
Greetings Patriot Families,
The end of our 9-Week grading period will close on March 13, 2024 and I want to ensure that our students are taking advantage of every opportunity to submit high quality assignments that demonstrate their best work. Parents please take time to review the weekly emails that are sent from teachers as they contain important information regarding upcoming assessments, projects, and due dates that can impact your students academic performance. Additionally, our students are preparing for upcoming EOC, AP, IB, EOPA, and LGPE exams and performances. These assessments represent the culmination of learning experiences that our students have had and will allow our students to demonstrate what they have mastered to this point. Therefore, it is critical that students fully engage in all homework/classwork and formative/summative assessments. Students who are missing assignments do not have the opportunity to show a teacher how much they know. We appreciate your partnership in advance of these very important months ahead.
Congratulations are in order for our Varsity Boys Basketball team as they are headed to another State Championship game this Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Macon Coliseum! Coach Nickerson and his staff led our players to a 66-32 win over Carver Columbus in the Final 4 on Saturday! Please review the flyer below for important information regarding Friday's game and I will send out a separate communication with similar details as well. Congratulations to Mr. White and Mr. Dykes for their leadership with our SkillsUSA students! We have students who won 1st place in Customer Service and will go on to compete in Nationals later this summer and our chapter has won the Excellence Award for the 10th consecutive year! Our Soccer teams will match up against Whitewater this week and Patriot Baseball will face Trinity Christian. Additionally, our Tennis team will play at Kenwood Park and our Track team will run on Saturday in the Atlanta Games.
We are excited to support our students in their academic endeavors while providing them with a competitive advantage!

Friends and Family Sponsorship
We have a rich tradition in athletics here at Sandy Creek with more than 10 State Championships in sports such as football, basketball, track, and volleyball.
Our scoreboard was built in 1991 and we are in need of a new board to match our dynamic and talented athletic teams. The vision at Sandy Creek High School is to provide students a competitive advantage in whatever endeavor they choose after high school. With your assistance we can help the students prepare for those endeavors while branding your business and supporting our community. Please view the information attached about the sponsorship and digital scoreboard.
We would like to recognize our FIRST Family Sponsor, The Harvey Family! The Harvey Family has donated $1,000 to our scoreboard fundraiser and we are hoping you can match or double their contribution soon! Who will be next to accept the challenge????

SCHS hopes that your company would be interested in becoming a premier sponsor for our digital scoreboard program! The Campus Parent portal is your source for student and family records, including household and individual contact information, attendance, school-based fees, academic planning (high school), forms, and report cards. The Parent portal also provides access to the GaDOE SLDS Portal. Please set up the parent Infinite Campus account first. The same username will be shared with Schoology to set up your parent account in Schoology. Because each login reflects the person associated with the username, it is recommended that a separate account is created for each parent.
- Usernames can be comprised of letters, numbers, the underscore, and dash.
- Please refrain from creating a username that is all numbers, as that will interfere with student data here in our district.
- After completing the setup of your parent portal account, please allow 24 hours for your new account information to be sent to Schoology before attempting to log into your Schoology parent account.
