D.A.R.E. Program
Educating children on the dangers of drug and alcohol aubse
Mission Statement
D.A.R.E.'s primary mission is to provide children with the information and skills they need to live drug-and-violence-free lives. The mission is to equip kids with the tools that will enable them to avoid negative influences and instead, allow them to focus on their strengths and potential.
About the Organization
The D.A.R.E. program raises drug and alcohol abuse awareness by starting programs in schools. The program trains local police officers to teach and promote safety in schools. The officers incorporate videos and other fun learning tools to excite kids about staying safe. By focusing on abuse, safety, and knowledge, the program promotes good health. By understanding all of these aspects, children will have the knowledge to lead happy and healthy lives.
