It is important to clean all make up brushes every now and then, even if you're only using them yourself. I find it convenient to wash my brushes every two weeks with shampoo and conditioner, it can also be good to use dish washing liquid for some of the brushes like the ones you use for your foundation. It is handy to have a dry brush cleaner as well, but they offer a quick way to clean your brushes and you can use it after each time.
If you do wash the brushes with shampoo and conditioner it's good to rinse them under luke warm water. Then put a little bit of shampoo on something and then dip the brush in it, massage it in your palm with the motion the brush is shaped, for example if it is round you massage it in circles in your palm, and then rinse the shampoo out. Then put a drop of conditioner, wait a little and rinse (you don't always have to use conditioner, and it depends on the brushes but it can be good every now and then).
You have to be careful you don't get water in the shaft on the brush, because the glue in there could stop working and the brush would fall apart. That's why it is important to have the brush facing down whilst you wait for it to dry (I prefer to let them dry on wash cloths and I fold one end of the wash cloth and put another cloth underneath to create a small slope, and then have the brushes facing down, that is the hair on the brushes is facing down).

c) I chose this text because I had some interesting on him. I wanted to know how you can clean your makeup brushes because there are a lot of different styles that people use. I thought this text was not too easy to translate but not to hard and I was right. I had to look after some words but I made it at the end. The methods I used was first writing the text in English quick and write the words still in Icelandic that I didn't knew how to write in English. After that I rode the text and looked for the hard words in dictionary in the internet and also in book.

This young lady was almost born with the interest on makeup, but she started to evolve forward when she was 15 years old. Her career started on youtube. She began to watch many youtube videos and there she learned the most before she went to makeup school. She decided to go to makeup school to get the diploma and also to get in touch with the famous people which are in this art. It happened really well because now she knows a lot of people in this art. Elín is ambitious in her work and she is regularly attend various courses and lectures but she really wants to go to another country and learn SPFX makeup. This young lady is a freelance makeup artist and she also writes article for Nude Magazine but last but not least she works as a salesgirl. Her future is bright and she is going on course with the famous makeup artist Hugo Villard and she told me that she is really excited for that course. In May she is going to put makeup on many transcript ladies and then in this summer she is going to put makeup on many bridesmaids. The most ordinary makeup she puts on is for annual party and also transcript.
The makeup that Elín likes most to put on, is a bright smokey on perfect skin on young ladies and she told me also about her favorite article which is the Brow Wiz from Anastasia, YSL bb cream, Lancome Grandiose, Laguna from Nars and Luminoso from Milano. Elín likes many type of brushes but she use most Mac, Sigma, Real Techniques and Morphe brushes and she said that Beauty Blender is necessary. In the end I asked her if she had anything else to say and she answered, Go FSu. I thank Elín for this interview about her.

a) Horfðu vel á fingurneglurnar þínar og þú munt uppgötva mismunandi áferð og liti, hvítir blettir hér, og rauðir blettir þar, kannski rifflaðar eða með dældum á yfirborðinu. Þú mátt ekki vera of upptekin af þessum ófullkomnleika en þjálfað auga getur veitt verðmætar hugmyndir um heilsu þína. Varúðarmerki fyrir mörgum öðrum ástæðum, svo sem allt frá lifrarbólgu til hjartasjúkdóma geta einnig birst í nöglunum samkvæmt Joshua Fox forstöðumanni Advanced Dermatology og talsmanni American Academy of Dermatology.
b) Original text: Take a good look at your fingernails and you may notice subtle variations in the texture or color - a touch of white here, a rosy tinge there, perhaps some rippling or bumps in the surface. These imperfections may not look like much to you, but to the trained eyethey can provide valuable clues about your overall health.
"Just like the eyes are the window to the soul, so are the nails," says Tamara Lior, MD, a dermatologist with Cleveland Clinic Florida. Lior says she once convinced a patient to have his lungs checked after noticing a bluish tint to his nails, a sign that he wasn't getting enough oxygen. Sure enough, he had fluid in his lungs.
Warning signs for many other conditions, from hepatitis to heart disease, may also appear in the nails, according to Joshua Fox, MD, director of Advanced Dermatology and a spokesman for the American Academy of Dermatology. "Changes in the nails can be a sign of a local disease like a fungus infection or a sign of a systemic disease like lupusor anemia," Fox tells WebMD.
He says he sometimes tries to guess if a person has anemia by looking at his or her nails. He explains that pale, whitish nail beds may indicate a low red blood cell count consistent with anemia.
An iron deficiency can cause the nail bed to be thin and concave and have raised ridges.
While most of Fox's patients don't come in to report nail problems, he often checks their nails anyway. "The nails offer many little clues to what's going on inside you. Lupus patients get quirky, angular bloodvessels in their nail folds. Psoriasis starts in the nails up to 10% of the time" and causes splitting and pitting of the nail bed.

c) I chose this text because in this text there are a couple of tips. It was really interesting text about nails and I know a lot more about nails now. I thought it would be interesting to translate this text to Icelandic so I could understood everything in it. The methods I used was almost the same as I did in the other text. First I translated the text from English to Icelandic but the words that I didn't understood were still in English. After quick translation I started to look for the words that I didn't understood in dictionary.
Geena Rocore: "Why I must come out"
b) This video was about women. She is a professional model for fashion and beauty companies around the world. And she uses her platform to share a powerful story. Geena was born in wrong body and she knew that very young. She always wanted to have long hair when she was young and wearing girly t-shirts. Her mother knew it all the time, but when Geena was 19 years old she went to a surgery to change her body from boy to a girl. She has competed in many beauty and fashion competition. One day her mother called her and told her that if she moved to America she could change her name, and have her drive licence with her real name that she changed to. It was so good to hear she said. Then she moved to San Francisco. This interview was really interesting and was fun to listen. It teach me a bit, you can be born in wrong body and you know it right away, It is not something that comes when you are older or something. You know it when you are born.
c) I chose this video because it was interesting to listen to Geena. I could see that her live have been hard and it is not joke if you are in wrong body. Your head doesn't accept the body so it is not a joke when you are born in a wrong body, It was fun and interesting to listen to this amazing women.
Cameron Russell: "Looks aren't everything. Believe me, I'm a model."
b)Cameron wanted to let people know that no one is perfect. Even if she is skinny and has beautiful hair and face she said that no one is perfect. This young lady works as a model for magazines and so on. She said that the picture of her are not the real her. She doesn't look like the photos. She is just a real, normal girl. She wears also ugly clothes at home. The picture on the magazines are not real. The stylist change them really much. Cameron wanted to tell girls that the model job is not a dream job. She also wanted to tell people that no one is perfect so be your self, doesn't matter if you are thick or skinny, black or white. Everyone are perfect as they are. :)
c)I chose this video because it is so much right in it! No one is perfect and the model job isn't the perfect job. You have to be skinny, you have to be nice looking every time and everyone knows you. I think this interview was exactly video that every girls should listen to. :)
Nina Jablonski: "Skin color is an illusion"
b)This video was very interesting. Nina Jablonski talked about the evolution. The skin colour doesn't matter. Be happy with your skin and be happy that you are one of the evolution. Nina talked about that the skin color is an illusion. Even if you are black and you live in hot country, your skin can burn. The black skin can also get cancer and some skin diseases. Always protect your skin and be happy about your skin. Go diversity!
c) I chose this video because it shows the human diversity. I want people to be normal with black people as they are normal with white people. The monkeys that we comes from they were all black. So I would say that the black people are not more worse than the white people. I like Nelson Mandela. He was a real hero. He changed the world a bit, but we need someone else to keep changing the world as Nelson Mandela did. :)
