Site visits continue to make me so proud! This week I had the privilege of visiting LaVorgna Elementary, Red Hawk Elementary, Tony Tobin Elementary, Temecula Luiseno Elementary, and Nicolas Valley Elementary School! The high levels of student engagement, teacher collaboration, and positive feeling tones on all campuses are second-to-none! And if you haven't asked your child about some of the amazing (and fun!) strategies our teachers are utilizing to teach math, I encourage you to do so! The work of our math specialists in all classrooms is evident!
Have you seen the "I Love My School Because..." six-part series yet? Many schools sent in videos showcasing TVUSD students sharing why they love our schools, and these videos will undoubtedly make you smile! They reinforce that we have amazing kids, staff, and schools!

2023-24 TVUSD Transportation Plan Input Request
The District is required under Education Code 39800.1 to develop an annual transportation plan and seek input and consultation from the community, site leaders, and other specified organizations. The draft of the plan is available on the Transportation website. We are asking our community to check out the plan and provide any input they may have for consideration in the 2023-24 plan; all comments must be submitted by March 8, 2023.
TVHS Celebrates California Exemplary Arts Education Award

Celebration is in the air! Temecula Valley High School recently celebrated its California Exemplary Arts Education award at Disneyland, along with 18 other distinguished schools who received the same recognition. Dance teacher, Anastasia Lewis, led the effort to make sure the school was acknowledged for the vast opportunities for students to be educated in the Arts. Lewis was joined by TVUSD VAPA TOSA, Lisa Lozosky and TVHS Assistant Principal, Maria Garza, to accept the award from California State Superintendent of Schools, Tony Thurmond. The award ceremony was held on February 16th at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim - and these TVUSD representatives were not going to leave the Happiest Place on Earth without taking a picture with Mickey. With this momentous picture in the books, the team enjoyed a banquet filled with representatives from over 400 schools throughout California. TVHS is proud to represent our district and all of Riverside County in this honor. Go Bears!
