1) Construct sequential events step-by-step in a logical order.

K.OA.A.3 Decompose numbers less than or equal to 10 into addend pairs in more than one way (e.g., 5 = 2 + 3 and 5 = 4 + 1) by using objects or drawings. Record each decomposition using a drawing or writing an equation.
Print For Your Bee-Bot Map
Bee-Bot Rules
Hold carefully (2 hands).
Use on the floor.
Pick up if it hits an obstacle.
Do not push or pull the Blue-Bot, or drive it like a toy car.
Take turns. (Rotate jobs.)
Bee-Bot Jobs
Directions:
Put the make ten cards on your map. As a class or in small groups, have the students create an algorithm for getting Bee-Bot to one of the make a ten problem. Once Bee-Bot gets to the math problem, call on a student to solve the problem. Continue until Bee-Bot has been to all the problems that equal ten and the students have solved all the problems. Challenge the students to make up their own math problem that equals ten and use a dry erase marker to add that problem to the map.
