Meet our Behavioral Support Staff
Mrs. Gabrielle Siano, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Gabrielle Siano started in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2014 as a Behavior Therapist. After two years of field experience, she received her Masters in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2016, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Since receiving her certification, she has been creating treatment plans for children, ages 18 months to 21 years old, with a wide range of co-morbid diagnoses. She also supervises approximately ten RBTs and provides parent training to families.
In 2020, she was hired part time by the Oceanport School District. Mrs. Siano conducts functional behavior assessments, creates behavior intervention plans, and provides consultations to school staff.
Kathy Miele, Registered Behavior Technician
Mrs. Kathy Miele has been working for the Oceanport School District for twenty-five years. In her more recent years, Mrs. Miele has shifted her role as paraprofessional to Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She offers classroom strategies to staff and assists in the roll-out and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans. Mrs. Miele works alongside Mrs. Gabrielle Siano to maximize behavioral supports for our students.

Oceanport Advocates for Diverse Learners' (ADL) mission is to facilitate communication between students, parents, staff, the Board of Education, and the community, with regards to practices surrounding the district's special education programs. This group is currently seeking new members and welcomes you if you'd like to learn more about your child's education and the programs that the District has to offer!
