The Boston Tea Party is mainly about the Tea Act in 1773, the people in Boston protested tea from the East India Tea Company. In 1773, Parliament passed the tea act, giving the East india Tea company a monoply on tea sails in the American colonies. Most americans in Boston didn't like the idea and protested by taking down three ships from the tea company.

Well, here's one fact on the tea party: On monday morning, November 1773, a bill was posted all over Boston, with the text "Friends! Bretheren! Countrymen!-- That worst of plauges, the detested tea, shipped for this port by the East Inida Tea Company, is now arrived at the harbour." Also, another interesting fact is that Parliament passed the Tea Act in 1773, giving the Tea Company a chance to avert bankruptcy by granting a monopoly on the inporting of tea into the colony of Boston.
