Some Important Points About The Course
- This class is entirely online. You may login at ncvps.instructure.com. Notice: this is NOT Moodle, we are using Canvas.
- Please use the login information that your school has provided you. If you were just added to the class please login ASAP. If you are having any trouble with logging in please contact me ASAP. It is imperative to your success that you login and begin working ASAP.
- This class takes about 1.5 hours (90 minutes) of work each day.
- Mozilla Firefox is the recommended browser for Canvas. You can download it for free.
- Technology requirements for the class can be found here: http://ncvps.org/technology-requirements
- If you do not have access to a computer with internet at home it is your responsibility to find a place to complete your work. Public libraries, after school computer labs, and the homes of family members and friends can be great places to finish up your work.
- You are expected to contact me at least once each week. You can contact me by text, phone, email, or Canvas message.
- There is a Virtual Support Center located in the class in the event you have technology issues.
- We have a great Peer Tutoring Center where students help students.
- You are expected to do and submit your own work. Please familiarize yourself with the NCVPS Honor Code if necessary.

How to View Feedback on Your Assignments
Enabling Mixed Content
In Canvas you must enable mixed content on most browsers. It's important to be a diligent reader-if a slide says "view the video below" but there isn't one showing, you must enable mixed content.
Here is a screencast to walk you through it with Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer.
