Jog-A-Thon Update
Wow! Our annual Jog-A-Thon Kick Off week has been amazing! We started with a fun assembly on Wednesday morning, and the kids' enthusiasm was electric. Our Tiger mascot even swung by for a visit. Here's how things are looking so far (in just 3 days!!!!):
- Students and their teachers have been deciding their team names, and door decorating will start soon!
- We already have 240 students registered, and key chains have been passed out. A couple classes are so close to getting 100% registration and a free round of miniature golf at Golf-N-Stuff. You do not have to give any money to register, so if you haven't please register NOW so your student's class can reach their goal. Click HERE to register.
- We have donations from 20 states and are only 30 away from an all-school BBQ! Know anyone from Wyoming, Oregon or North Dakota that might be willing to donate?!
- 21 kids have already earned one of our brand-new Wildwood Water Bottle stickers!
- Talk of sliming teachers and Mr. Lynch have led 13 students to gathering more than $250
Jog is a special time of year. We love seeing the class spirit as classes compete to earn the most amount of donations each week, come up with creative ways to fundraise, and encourage each other on! Please join in the fun and donate if you can - it takes a village for the PTA to be able to provide all the things we do to our amazing school!

Wildwood Enrollment Projection Form - We're halfway there!
In order to properly plan classes and staffing for the 2024-2025 school year, we are requesting that ALL families who currently have a child attending Wildwood Elementary complete THIS FORM. Half of our families have already completed this form...Thank you!
If you have more than 1 child currently attending Wildwood, please complete a separate form for each child. This form should take less than 1 minute to complete.
Families of 5th grade students do not need to complete this form for your 5th grade student because we are already aware that they will be moving on.

Lost & Found - Going SOON!
If your child lost a clothing item (LOTS of jackets), lunch bag, or water bottle on campus, it's likely we have found it. Our Lost & Found cart is usually stored in the MPR, and we will begin placing it out front on the last day of every school week for you to sift through. At the end of the trimester, all remaining items will be donated to a local charity.
Next School Spirit Day - March 27
On Wednesday of the last week of school before Spring Break, we will kick off the vacation week with a fun dress-up day: "Tourist Day / Destination Day". Students are encouraged to wear what they might wear on vacation or wear something from one of their favorite destinations. Does your student still have that souvenir shirt, hat, or sweatshirt from your trip to Boston...wear it! Want to wear something celebrating a special town, city, state, or country you love...go for it! Want to go the tourist route...have fun!
Talent Show Update
If your child is performing in the Talent Show, they should have received an order form to pre-order tickets in their Wednesday packet today. (We sent home one form per family, so not every child may have received one.) Your family may pre-order up to 4 tickets. Please return the form and envelope with the cash and your child’s name on it to the front office no later than Monday, March 4th.
Tickets will be available to pick up in the front office on Tuesday, March 5th, or they will be sent home on Wednesday, March 6th, in their Wednesday packet. If you did not receive the form or lost the form, please see Mrs. Morehead or go to the front office for a new one.
All remaining tickets will go on sale to the entire school on Wednesday morning, March 6th, in the front office on a first come, first served basis. No tickets will be sold at the door on Friday night.
STEAM Update
Hello Wildwood Families!
This week in STEAM our TK and Kindergarten classes read Pigeon Will Ride a Roller Coaster. Then we built a roller coaster using different materials. Our 1st and 2nd graders made magnetic butterflies using tissue paper, paperclips and string.
We hope you enjoy these videos and photos.
