Ozark Scores 87.3% on APR
The Department of Elementary & Secondary Education released the state’s Annual Performance Reports for the 2021-22 school year, and Ozark School District scored 87.3 percent.
Assistant Superintendent of Learning Dr. Craig Carson said he is proud of Ozark’s score and the hard work that students and staff do every day.
“Even though our emphasis is not on chasing an APR score, this report affirms the hard work our teachers and staff do to meet the District mission of a high-quality education for each student’s future-readiness,” Carson said.

National School Social Worker Week
Did you know that Ozark School District has five social workers? They play a vital role in helping students meet academic, social and emotional challenges. This week is National School Social Worker Week, and we want to thank our social workers — Carrie Nelson, Mary Anderson, Stacy Johnson, Cameo Hopper and Jennifer Roland — for being the link between home, school and the community.
Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day
Monday was Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of the amazing people who keep things running smoothly and working properly in our school buildings!
National School Breakfast Week
National School Breakfast Week is March 6-10! This year, Ozark is serving an average of 930 breakfasts per day and nearly 3,000 lunches. But there would be no breakfast or lunch without the hard work of our food service staff! Studies show that eating breakfast helps students have better concentration and memory in class.
