From the Principal
I hope everyone had a great weekend! At least we had one nice day full of sunshine! April showers, right?!? :)
It is sure to be another busy week! Some quick things to highlight in this week's newsletter:
- Solar Eclipse- Tomorrow, April 8th our science department will guide any interested students in safely viewing the solar eclipse. This is a rare opportunity for our staff and students, but we need to proceed with safety being our main priority. Parents, please sign the waiver form attached below so that your student can be part of this once in a lifetime experience. Any student that does not have a signed waiver turned in will not be allowed to participate. There is an electronic form and paper copy below, students were also sent home with paper copies on Friday. Please let the office know if you have any questions.
- ACT test day- Thursday, April 11th is ACT test day for ALL Juniors. This is a virtual learning day for all 7th-10th and 12th grade students. We will also have an alternate schedule this week to accommodate for testing. Please read below for more information.
- CCSD Summer School- Registration starts tomorrow. Check out the flier linked below for more information regarding summer school options for all students K-12!
As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you so much for your continued support! Have a great week!
Mrs. Stewart
East Street Construction
On April 8th thru April 12th. The Village will be closing East street for repairs. They are leaving our drive and East street open to the north so we will still have access. They will return after the last day of school to do the entire replacement.
From the Athletic Director
Hello Clinton Community School District Families,
The weather this week wasn’t very conducive to getting outside for spring sports, however this coming week looks much better to catch an event outside. We were lucky enough to have a couple teams playing on Saturday, April 6th with the softball team getting outside and losing a tough game in extra innings 3-2. The JV baseball team also traveled to Beloit on Saturday, and lost a close one 8-6.
Please look closely at the schedule in the coming weeks as there have been many changes already this spring. Lastly, even though we just started with spring contests, we are already thinking about the fall. A list of open gym times are listed below for volleyball this coming spring and summer. Contact Coach Sara Douglas if you have any questions, sadouglas@clintonwis.com.
