2019 Paw Ball
The 2019 Paw Ball date has been set. Mark your calendars for this great event! It will take place on Saturday, March 9th at Swan Valley Banquet Center. Tickets will be $50 per person and include dinner and drinks. Tickets will be available in January. The theme this year is "Let's Make a Deal!" If you would like to make a donation, they are being accepted now.

10/10/2018 - JV Boys Soccer vs. Valley Lutheran - L (0-6) Clay Urbaniak had 6 saves, Cayden Stark had 4 saves and Ben Fowler had 2 saves in goal. This wraps up the season for the JV Boys. They finish with a record of 4-7-4 on the year.
10/11/18 - JV Football vs. Valley Lutheran - The JV football team went to Valley Lutheran and won 68-0. Bob Knapik scores 5 TDs and a 2pt Conversion. Max Dinninger threw a TD pass to Carter Miller. Max also ran for 4 2pt conversions. Espin Miller ran for a TD and so Did Jeremy Wazny. Finishing up the scoring for the Offense was Shane Renas and and Alix Breturnitz, who both scored a 2pt conversion. On Defense, Max, Kam Brown, and Alix each had interceptions. Alix returned his for a TD. The JV team finishes up their season next Thursday at home against Bullock Creek with a chance to complete an undefeated season.
10/12/18 - Varsity Football vs. Valley Lutheran - W (45-6) Brady Devereaux ran for 148 yards and 4 touchdowns. He passed for another 54 yards and tossed two touchdowns to Payton Tenant. Jonas Kanouse added another 82 yards on the ground. Connor Hahn paced the defense with 10 tackles. Scott Gunther and Michael Zolinski had QB sacks. The Huskies are 7-1 on the season and finish the regular season at Bullock Creek on Friday.
10/12/18 - V Boys Tennis @ Regional - Congratulations to Boys Tennis for taking 2nd place at Regionals and qualifying for state. Ethan Ludwig and Gage Slominski beat Chesaning to go to the semi finals winning us 1 point for the day. Sierra Yell and Jared Schoen beat Bullock Creek and Frankenmuth and made it to the finals to earn us 2 points for the day and taking 2nd place. Max Hauffe beat Caro and Nouvel and also made it to the finals to earn us 2 points and winning 2nd place. Gabe Bannerman and Harumu Ishino beat Caro, Bullock Creek and Nouvel to win 1st place and earning the team 3 points. Lucas Vazquez beat Frankenmuth, Garber and Nouvel to also earn us 3 points and taking 1st place at one singles. Great job team and good luck at State on Friday.
10/13/18 - V Volleyball @ Ithaca Invite - The varsity volleyball team went 3-1-2 this weekend at the Ithaca Invite. They beat MLS in the finals.
10/13/18 - V Cross Country @ Freeland Invite - The Hemlock harriers traveled to Freeland to run in the Freeland invite October 13. Medalists for the meet were Greison McLeod, Evan Robishaw, Alaina Yuker, and Rachel Hilbrandt. Personal best times were run by Carson Penny, Xander Nichols, Connor McFadden, Paige Walle, Elina Wagner, Emma Dulin, and Noelle Kenny. Season best times were run by Greison McLeod, Evan Robishaw, Rachel Hilbrandt, Maddy Goka, and Stephanie Church. Great job Huskies!
10/15/18 - V Boys Soccer District @ Shepherd - L (2-3) Ethan Vietti and Caden Giacoletti scored the goals assisted by Mitch Hingston and Ethan Vietti. Andrew Knoll had 7 saves. On behalf of the Hemlock High School soccer program, I would like to say thank you to all 40 of our players and to their families for their passion, support and sacrifices. Thank you to Coach Wardlow for another season of incredible dedication and mentorship! Thank you to our assistant coaches, Hannah Bauer, Courtney Wardlow and Richard Zanavich! Thank you to our team managers Emilie Peitsch, Abby Boylan and Emma Olinger.
I would especially like to thank and recognize our seniors, Captain Nick Stemple, Captain Kyle Chanin, Isaac Killingbeck, Brady Jarabeck, Russell Deweese and Philip Spannagel for your many years of commitment and dedication to our teams, for your leadership on and off of the field, and for your blood, sweat and tears! It has been an honor and a true blessing having had the opportunity to watch you grow as players, and more importantly, as young men. Please know that you all have made lifelong impressions on my heart, and on the hearts of so many others! As you transition into the next stage of your life, please remember that you will always have a family, brothers and sisters, here at Hemlock High School, and within our soccer program! Your true Huskie spirit will never fade! Thank you guys!

10/16/18 - V Cross Country @ TVC Meet - The Hemlock husky cross country team ran in the TVC championship meet on Tuesday, October 16. Second-team all conference honors went to Greison McLeod and Evan Robishaw and third team all conference honors went to Alaina Yuker. Personal best performances were run by Colin Chevalier, Xander Nichols, Rachel Hilbrandt, Noelle Kenny, Molly Schaffer, Madison Sutliff, Elina Wagner , and Paige Walle. Season best performances were run by Greison McLeod, Evan Robishaw , and Maddy Goka. Great job Huskies! So proud of you all.
